Ellington Vaults Into Top 10 of Weekly Baseball Poll

The Knights are one of two remaining undefeated teams in the state.

ELLINGTON, CT — Amity Regional High School again tops the GameTimeCT.com weekly baseball poll, but for the first time in ages, it was not a unanimous vote.

The Spartans (15-2) did receive top selection on nine of 10 ballots, but red-hot South Windsor (14-1) was deemed tops in the state by one panelist.

Ellington (14-0), one of two undefeated teams remaining in the state, jumped into the top 10 at number seven in the most recent balloting.
