Ellington Wall Of Honor Nominations Being Accepted
Nominations are being accepted for the Ellington Wall of Honor.

ELLINGTON, CT — Nominations are being accepted for the Ellington Wall of Honor, which recognizes deserving citizens for "exceptional contributions to the Town of Ellington."
It is located in Arbor Park off Main Street.
Anyone wishing to nominate a candidate for the wall can contact the First Selectman’s Office at 860-870-3100 for an application; or download the application at ellington-ct.gov and select "Community" then "Wall of Honor."

The submission deadline is July 1.
Applications submitted over the previous three years will be included in the pool of current candidates.

The Board of Selectmen's Town Policies Committee will review the applications and may recommend a recipient to the board at its July 8 meeting.
If a recipient is chosen, his or her name will be engraved on the Wall of Honor and unveiled at a public ceremony on Sept. 7, prior to the Fire Department parade.
