Ellington Winterfest To Resume After One Year Hiatus
A day long list of activities is planned for a fun filled Winterfest.

The Ellington Winterfest will be spreading joy once again this holiday season after a one year hiatus due to covid. From Friday December 3 through Sunday December 5 many activities at various locations are planned. Shop Small Ellington takes place Saturday November 27th through Saturday December 4th. Participants can enter to win a raffle to win gift cards.
Winterfest Schedule
Friday December 3
- 7:00pm-8:00pm Ellington Singers Holiday Concert at Ellington Senior Center
- 7:30 pm-"Christmas in Pinetree Corner" by Opening Knight Players Ellington High School
Saturday December 4 All Day

- Fill the shed with non-perishable foods at Kloters Farm 216 West Rd.
- Fill the antique sleigh with unwrapped toys for the Cornerstone Foundation at the Nellie McKnight Museum Quad, 70 Main St.
- 9:00am -11:00 am Ellington Farmers' Market Winterfest Market at Ellington High School 37 Maple St.
- 9:00am-7:30pm Shop the Holiday Marketplace at the Nellie McKnight Museum Quad
- 10:00am-Holiday Ornament Workshop for children at the Hall Memorial Library. Tickets must be obtained and are available for the 5 sessions beginning November 20 at the library.
- 3:00pm-7:30pm Visit the hospitality tents, tour the historic 1812 Nellie McKnight Museum, enjoy refreshments, bonfires and caroling at the Nellie McKnight Museum Quad 70 Main St.
- 4:00pm-Visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman at the Tree-Lighting Ceremony at the Town Gazebo with musical entertainment by elementary school choir. Sing along and Photo Ops with Santa and Friends at the Gazebo.
- 4:00-6:30pm-Winterfest Cafe Ellington Congregational Church family-friendly dinner with continuous seating in the Social Room
- 4:00pm-6:30pm Refreshments in the Town Hall Annex
- 5:00pm-6:30pm-Hall Memorial Library Open House, refreshments, kids outside activities
- 5:00pm-5:30pm-Opening Knight Players preview "Christmas in Pinetree Corners" EHS School Chorus performing.
- 5:15pm-Torchlight Parade down Main St.
- 6:30-8:30pm-Living Nativity at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2 Maple St.
- 7:30pm-“Christmas in Pinetree Corners” by the Opening Knight Players at Ellington High School
Sunday Dec. 5th
