Ellington's newest Wall of Honor inductee

This past weekend I had the privilege of attending the ceremony to induct Rachel Wheeler-Rossow to Ellington’s Wall of Honor in Arbor Park. I met Rachel many years ago while I was working for the State Senate and I distinctly remember being amazed at what seemed to be her endless supply of compassion. Many years later at a ceremony to celebrate her life and accomplishments, it was very apparent that she was a true hero to those she helped and to those she loved. I consider myself lucky that I met her.
