Call for Meeting of the Enfield Society for the Detection of Thieves and Robbers

The Enfield Society for the Detection of Thieves and Robbers is holding its 192nd Anniversary Meeting and Banquet on Tuesday May 12th, 6pm at Fitzmaurice Hall at 426 Hazard Avenue.

The guest speaker is Atty. Leonard Boyle, Deputy Chief State’s Attorney and former Asst. US Attorney for Connecticut. His topic will be police authorized use of deadly force and Grand Jury investigations.

The price for the evening is $20 and includes a dinner catered by Angelina’s. The Society prides itself in being the oldest vigilance society in the United States. Lifetime membership is $1, the same as it was when the Society was formed in 1823.
