2011 Rockville Fest

ROCKVILLE.   Vendors and artisans are needed for the annual Rockville Festival, scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2011 (rain date Sept. 25).  The Rockville Community Alliance (RCA) is working in conjunction with the Tri-Town Cruzers and the Vernon Parks and Recreation Department to once again present the classic car event of the year!  Last year there were over 180 vintage automobiles on display in the middle of downtown Rockville. It was a beautiful sight to behold!  This year will be even bigger and better, with more cars on display around Central Park, more entertainment and more fun for everyone, including bounce houses, face painters and entertainment.

     If you are an artisan/crafter or a food vendor (must meet all conditions of local Health Department) the RCA wants to hear from you; especially people with unusual and/or unique food products or merchandise for sale.  This includes home-based sales also (i.e. - Avon, Tupperware, Discovery Toys, etc.)  The Rockville Community Alliance does reserve the right to limit submissions of similar type items; they are seeking a wide variety of food and merchandise.

Alcoholic beverages, drugs, dogs, rollerblades and skateboards are not permitted, per order of the Vernon Police Department.
