Start piecing together your personal history and begin creating your own family tree at the Somers Public Library. Somers resident Jane Williams will offer an introduction to genealogy research and help participants begin the first page of their own charts on Thursday, March 22 starting at 10:00 a.m. Learn how to use ‘Heritage Quest’ and other online resources to launch your search. Registration is limited and basic computer experience is required. Call 860-763-3501 beginning March 15 to register.
