A free opera movie presentation, Gaetano Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, will be shown in the Somers Public Library Blake Community Room on Sunday, March11 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Opera enthusiast Michael Cascia will provide an introduction and commentary on this work which is based on Sir Walter Scott’s novel The Bride of Lammermoor. The opera is sung in Italian with English subtitles. There will be one intermission with light refreshments.
