Bringing the Highland to Hartford! "Pipes in the Valley" is a Celtic music festival and so much more! Family fun begins with the bagpipe bands marching across the Founders Bridge at noon! Kids can enjoy the free Celtic crafts and puppet/interactive storytelling in the Childrens' Glen. Birds of prey, interactive sword handling, Highland Games and a fire act are just but a few of the exciting things to do and see, but don't miss the "Red Hot Chilli Pipers" performance either! Celtic bands on two stages! Great food, free Scotch whisky samples, micro brews & more! Seating is on a grassy hillside. Dogs are welcome, but coolers are not. Held rain or shine.
