Monster Trucks and More at Nellie McKnight Museum
From 10 AM to 2 PM, the Nellie McKnight Museum at 70 Main Street will host "Monster Trucks and More," a thrilling event showcasing an impressive collection of vehicles. Attendees can marvel at the Carrili Motorsports Monster Trucks, a vintage fire truck, race cars, antique and vintage trucks, tractors, buggies, and sleighs. The 1812 House Museum will also be open for tours, featuring the captivating exhibit "It Happened in Ellington...Believe it or Not," along with the Farm Exhibit. Hungry visitors can enjoy breakfast and lunch options provided by No Coast Kitchen

Zucchini 500 Drag Race at Ellington Farmers Market
The Ellington Farmers Market, 72 Maple Street, hosts the hilarious and popular Zucchini 500 Drag Race. The race starts at 10 AM, inviting participants to strap a zucchini to a set of wheels and compete in this whimsical contest. Toy cars and trucks make excellent zucchini racers. Please ensure your car fits the track, which measures 6.5 inches wide with 2-inch sides.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in this double-elimination contest.
