Expensive Jewelry Taken from Ellington Home: State Police
The theft included a necklace worth thousands, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — A South Windsor woman is facing three types of larceny charges for a series of thefts at a home on Justin Drive in Ellington, state police said.
Hongkeo Luangpraseuth, 20, of Avery Street, South Windsor, was charged with second-degree larceny, third-degree larceny and fifth-degree larceny, state police said.
She is the niece of the homeowners, state police said.

One item taken was a $10,000 necklace and a $750 bracelet, state police said. She posted a $5,000 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on March 27, state police said.
The thefts took place in January and she was arrested on March 12, state police said.
