Final Ellington Winter Farmers' Market

It's the last chance to stock up before the market takes a ten week break

Saturday, February 19th is the final Winter Ellington Farmers' Market to be held at Ellington High, School, 37 Maple St from 9am to 11am. The market will then take a ten-week break until the start of the outdoor market, held in Arbor Park on May 7th.

The final indoor market features 30 vendors with a wide variety of locally grown, raised, produced and handcrafted items.

There are loads of shelf-stable food items and foods that freeze well to stock up on; honey, jams, relishes, dehydrated soups, teas, spices, and hot sauce are just a few as well as vegan Jamaican patties, and your favorite baked goods including a wide variety of gluten-free options. Locally sourced seafood, beef, pork, chicken and turkey are available along with handcrafted soaps, bath, body, and home products and artisan wares.

The market doubles SNAP up to $20 per EBT card. Simply present your card at the Market Booth where you will be given tokens to shop the market. All food vendors accept the SNAP tokens.

Many vendors are offering specials at the final market. A complete list of vendors and special offers can be found in this week's newsletter.
