Good Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration at Ellington Farmers' Market 9-12 on July 4th
Old time fiddlers, games and activities for kids, patriotic hat parade plus 40 vendors bringing local and fresh products!
The Ellington Farmers Market is hosting a “Good Old Fashioned July 4th Celebration” on Saturday July 4th in Arbor Park, Main St. from 9-12. Connecticut’s Bristol Old Time Fiddlers Club will be providing the live musical entertainment. There will be a variety of activities and games for kids including making a patriotic hat with a parade to follow at 10:30, face painting , patriotic tattoos, ostrich egg spoon race, ring toss, bean bag toss and guessing games. Families can visit the popular market alpacas, enjoy a gelato while shopping the 40 vendors or bring a chair and relax in the shade while listening to some good old fashion fiddling.
