Historical Survey Of Early Ellington Photo Exhibit Opens

Discover Ellington in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Browse the new photo exhibit and renovated farm exhibit at the Nellie McKnight Museum

The grand opening of the " Historical Survey of Early Ellington" exhibit at the Nellie McKnight Museum, 70 Main St., will take place Saturday, April 23rd from 10am-2pm. The exhibit features several photographic themes of Ellington in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The event coincides with the town Earth Day Celebration across the street in the town green. In addition to the new photo exhibit, there will be free, hands-on activities for children related to earth day. Admission and activities are free of charge.
The museum's newly renovated farm exhibit, Vintage Wares Barn, Nellies Mercantile and the 1812 house museum will all be open for touring and shopping. Backroads Smokin BBQ will be on site.
