Holidays Prompt Change to Ellington Recycling Shed Hours
See when the shed will be closed and open.
ELLINGTON, CT — The Recycling Shed at 21 Main St. will close at 2 p.m. on Friday and re-open on on Jan. 7 and 14 from 9 a.m. to noon, town officials said.
Here is a list of what is accepted.
- All batteries
- Antifreeze
- Cell phones
- Computer components
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Propane tanks: 5 pounds and 20 pounds
- Televisions, small appliances and electronics
- Waste oil
- NEW Textile Recycling - Footware, clothing, accessories, linens and stuffed animals. (Items must be bagged.)
