  • Ellington resident Sloan Sullivan has been named to the dean's list at James Madison University for the spring 2020 semester. Students who earn dean's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Sullivan is a finance major.

Saint Michael's College, Colchester VT

  • Softball May graduate Danielle Markowski of Ellington was inducted into the Sigma Pi Sigma physics honor society.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

  • Seven students from Ellington and Somers recently earned degrees at Springfield College. Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

  • Alison Desrosiers of Somers earned a spot on the Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester. Students enrolled in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.

  • Justin Paul Talbot of Somers has been named to the Deans' List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2019-20 academic year. Talbot, a junior actuarial science major, was named to the Dean's List for the College of Business.
