How Ellington, Somers High School Teams Are Faring This Fall
A Knight team and a Spartan squad have already qualified for CIAC tournament play.

ELLINGTON-SOMERS, CT — As the fall sports regular season begins to enter the homestretch, anticipation is building at Ellington and Somers high schools toward the goal of qualifying for CIAC tournament competition.
A team from each school has already locked up a postseason berth, with four others still having a chance to qualify.
Here is a look at the records for Ellington and Somers varsity teams through Oct. 15. Teams listed in bold print have already clinched a tournament spot; the number in parentheses signifies the number of regular season games remaining. (NOTE: the CIAC does not post team records for boys cross country, girls cross country or girls swimming on its web site).
