Inmate Charged After Being Caught With Weapon: Report

An inmate at a prison in Somers is facing a weapons charge, statre police said.

SOMERS, CT — An inmate at Northern Correctional Institution was charged with two crimes after being caught with a "weapon," state police said.

Joseph Mills, 30, was charged with possessing a weapon on a corrections facility and second-degree threatening, according to a report.
