Inmate In Somers Charged After Flashing GED Teacher: Cops
An inmate at Northern Correctional Institution was charged with public indecency after a classroom flashing incident, state police said.

SOMERS, CT — An inmate at Northern Correctional Institution was charged with public indecency for flashing the teacher and room full of other inmates at a prison-sponsored GED math class, state police said.
Monte Phillip White, 35, was charged on Monday for the Aug. 22, incident, according to a report.
In addition to the indecency charge, While was slapped with a second-degree breach of peace charge, according to a report.

The teacher in the class had been employed by the state Department of Corrections for four months, according to a report.
The classroom was full at the time and the teacher was in the midst of GED-prep math instruction, according to a report. The teacher then noticed White fondling himself and called authorities.

According to a warrant, he has a history of such behavior.
