Stafford Springs, CT- During the month of December, Johnson Memorial Medical Center (JMMC) hosted a food drive to benefit Safe Net Ministries Food Cupboard. Safe Net Ministries Food Cupboard is a local not-for-profit business created by seven local churches to help individuals and families living in Stafford and Union, CT. In addition to the many personal care items that were donated, the food drive generated 164 pounds of food, which is enough to supplement a family of four for a month. For information on how to donate or volunteer at Safe Net Ministries visit www.safenetministries.com.
