Kids Identification Day At Ellington Farmers Market

CT State Police will be providing fingerprinting and photos for Kids ID kits and Meet Your Community Organizations Day at the market.

The Ellington Farmers Market is hosting Kids Identification Day along with Meet Your Community Organizations Day on Saturday September 4th from 9-12.

The Connecticut State Police will be providing parents with fingerprints, photos and take home kits to prepare and keep on hand in the event of an unforeseen emergency. The completed kits are an invaluable resource for quick identification of children. The service is free and open to all.

Local non-profit organizations and clubs will be on hand and excited to share information concerning their missions and membership opportunities. It's a great chance to meet the people and groups who enhance your community and discover the opportunities they offer.

Judy and Mark will be providing the musical entertainment. Though the summer is speeding by, you'll find plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to enjoy along with all the jams, salsas, pickles and relishes prepared from local farms’ summer harvests. The weather looks to be cool and comfortable with plenty of sunshine for a great morning at the market. Additional information can be found on the market website.
