Knorr Wins Somers GOP First Selectman Primary
A Republican primary took place in Somers on Tuesday.

SOMERS, CT — Bud Knorr emerged as the winner of the Somers Republican primary for first selectman on Tuesday.
Knorr was the clear-cut favorite with 440 votes, followed by David McCaffrey with 167 and Linda Louise LaCasse with 102, according to the official results.
Though the total votes add up to 709, the tally sheet shows 711 ballots were turned in, including 28 absentee ballots.

There are a total of of 2,015 registered Republicans, making it a 35.29 percent voter turnout, according to the tally sheet.
