TOLLAND, CT — Here are the latest incidents and arrests from the log book at the state police Troop C barracks:
July 5
MANSFIELD, CT — Brian Nowyckyi, 48, of Mansfield, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault for an incident on Meadowbrook Lane, according to an arrest report. The incident was at 5:45 p.m., state police said.

July 5
MANSFIELD, — State police are investigating a break-in at 306 Storrs Road. The burglary took place between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., state police said. A door was found smashed in and a laptop, a laser pointer and a wallet were taken, state police said.

July 6
VERNON, CT — A driver was cited for moving violations for an incident on Interstate-84 eastbound, state police said. At 4:04 p.m., the car veered onto the shoulder and took out two traffic signs near Exit 66, state police said.
July 9
VERNON/TOLLAND, CT — A Jacksonville, FL, ma was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, failure to obey a traffic signal and third-degree reckless endangerment after he blew through a stop sign on Grove street in Vernon and continued onto Interstate-84, state police said. He was eventually chased down in Tolland on the highway, state police said. Joseph Turnbull was then arrested at 12:15 a.m., state police said. He also had several outstanding warrants, state police said.
