And the charges levied against 19-year-old Abraham Jauregui, of Flusing, Queens for the Nov. 30 incident, support that contention — third-degree forgery, third-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace, state police records indicate. He entered the Holiday Spirit Shoppe on Storrs Road and presented an ID for a purchase, but the ID was confiscated by an employee who said she was calling police, according to an arrest report.

Jauregui became mad and began kicking things in the store — and the front door on the way out, according to a police report.

Willington

State police are investigating a Dec. 1 collision between two tractor-trailers at the TA truck stop on Ruby Road. One tractor-trailer seems to have back into another before the driver left the scene, state police said.

Somers

A 17-year-old has been charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault and third-degree strangulation in connection with a fight at 467 Main St., state police said. The altercation took place at 12:02 a.m. on Nov. 27, state police said.

Tolland

A Stafford man has been charged with second-degree failure to appear after his arrest on Nov. 29, state police said. He was initially charged with third-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct for a Tolland domestic incident, state police said.

Vernon/Ellington

A Vernon Man was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny on Nov. 28 for allegedly fudging the refund receipts at the West Road McDonald's, where he works, state police said. He adjusted the receipts 26 times in increments of just more than $10 to just more than $33, according to a warrant.
