We’re all busy, so we’re always looking for a little bit of help where we can get it.
Here are some life hacks – or strategies or techniques that are adopted in order to manage your time and daily activities in a more efficient way – that are sure to help.
- Remember what each key is for by painting the top part with nail polish.
- Use a dustpan to fill a bucket for mopping.
- Use bread bag clips to help identify which cord is which. Label each with a fine tipped sharpie.
- Run out of toilet bowl cleaner? You can use Coca Cola. Pour it in and let it sit for at least an hour. The acids in the Coca Cola will break down the stains. Scrub with a brush and then flush.
- Easily get crumbs and dust under the refrigerator using an automobile snow brush.
- Before you start vacuuming, vacuum up 2 or 3 tbsp. of cinnamon. The smell of the cinnamon being heated up inside the vacuum will scent your home.
- Use a lemon to get rid of water stains. Scrub it on any fixture and rinse.
- Remove water stains on wood using mayonnaise or a hair dryer.
- Get wrinkles out of your clothes by putting them in the dryer with a wet towel or a few ice cubes.
- For a streak free mirror shine, polish your mirrors with a coffee filter and a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water.
