Lottery Luck Continues In Ellington As $1 Million Prize Claimed
Five people split the million dollar Powerball prize evenly at $200,000 apiece, according to a CT Lottery official.

ELLINGTON, CT — An unbelievable run of luck for CT Lottery players purchasing tickets at Ellington retailers continued Monday, with a $1 million Powerball prize claimed on a ticket obtained at the Big Y Ellington Express on Route 83.
Five winners claimed the $1 million bonanza from the Oct. 26, 2022 drawing, splitting the winnings with $200,000 apiece. The winners were Brian and Angela Echard of Ellington, Tod Cyr of Seattle, Wash., Viral Dave of Lombard, Ill. and Scott Spaulding of Ballwin, Mo., according to the CT Lottery website.
The winning Powerball numbers for the Oct. 26 drawing were 19 - 36 - 37 - 46 - 56. The Powerball was 24 and the Power Play multiplier was 2, according to a CT Lottery official.

Last week, three players from neighboring towns claimed prizes ranging from $390,000 to $50,000, all bought at retail outlets in Ellington.
