MACDAC NAMED DASSAULT SYSTEMES BUSINESS PARTNER FOR CATIA AND ENOVIA 3D SOFTWARE

SOMERS--Thus far, 2014 is proving to be a banner year for MACDAC Engineering, headquartered at 27 Quality Avenue in a nicely renovated portion of an 1839 textile mill on the banks of the Scantic River. The firm was recently named a business partner of Dassault Systemes, a world leader in 3D design software, 3D digital mockup and product lifecycle management solutions based in France.  MACDAC will demonstrate Dassault Systemes’

Catia 3D CAD design software and Enovia 3D digital collaboration software at the Mfg4 exposition at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford on May 6-8.  This event is the largest conference and trade show on the East Coast focusing on innovations in aerospace, defense, medical and micro manufacturing.

In addition, MACDAC was recently named a semi-finalist for a 2014 MTConnect Challenge Award for its innovative wireless manufacturing technologies.  MTConnect Challenge participants are tasked with the development of innovative and unique software applications that can be easily adopted by manufacturing enterprises, especially lower-tier producers, to enhance their capabilities and support Department of Defense (DoD) supply chain management objectives.
