Man Accused Of Inappropriately Grabbing Teen Girl In Somers

SOMERS, CT — A Massachusetts man was arrested late Saturday night following an incident at Sonny's Place in Somers, in which a 13-year-old girl claimed he had grabbed her buttocks, according to state police.

Daniel Perreault, 49, of Springfield, was charged with illegal sexual contact with a victim under age 16, fourth-degree sexual assault of a victim under age 16 and second-degree breach of peace. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or surety bond, and he is slated to appear Aug. 25 in Rockville Superior Court.

A police report indicates troopers were dispatched to the amusement center around 11:30 p.m. with a report a man inappropriately touched a girl at that location. The girl's 23-year-old cousin witnessed the incident, police said.
