Man Accused of Throwing Bottles at Car, Spitting at Troopers in Ellington High School Lot
The man also tried to run away from state troopers

ELLINGTON, CT — An Enfield man is accused of first hurling a beer bottle in a school parking lot, then spitting at state police, an arrest report indicates.
On Wednesday at 4:20 p.m., state police were called to Ellington High School for a drunken man who had allegedly thrown a beer bottle at a vehicle in the parking lot, according to an arrest report.
State police located the suspect, identified as Jesse Cooke, 23, of 25 Tolland Drive, Enfield, but Cooke started running away, according to arrest report.

Cooke was chased down and arrested, but then began spitting at police and medical personnel who arrived at the scene, according to an arrest report.
Cooke was charged with assaulting a public safety officer, interfering with an officer, throwing an object at a motor vehicle and breach of peace, state police said.

He has a court date of Feb. 1, state police said.
