Man Being Held on a High Bond for Violating Protective Order in Ellington

ELLINGTON, CT — A Vernon man is in custody on a $150,000 bond on a charge that he violated a protective order in Ellington, state police said.

Devin Mullen, 29, of Regan Road, Vernon, is due for his second court appearance on Dec. 20, according to judicial system records.

He was arrested on Nov. 22 after he sent a series of text messages to a woman he was not supposed to be contacting, state police said.

A man with the same name and same birth years shows up on the state judicial system website as having the same court days for two domestic violence arrests on May 30 and 31.
