Man Charged After Disturbance at Amusement Center in Somers

SOMERS, CT — A man was charged with a pair of crimes for an altercation at a popular amusement center on Main Street, state police said.

Edward Sousa, 51, of Crystal Corner Road in Enfield, was charged with breach of peace and interfering on Saturday, state police said. He has a court date of Sept. 28, state police said.

On Saturday at 11:35 p.m., state police were called to Sonny's Place for a disturbance. Sousa was taken into custody a short time later, state police said.

Sonny's features outdoor games and activities like mini-golf, a zip line and a rock climbing wall. It also has an indoor arcade and a patio lounge area.
