Man Charged With Threatening to Kill Brother-In-Law

The incident took place more than a year ago following the man's termination from a Somers restaurant, police say.

A Massachusetts man was arrested Friday and charged with threatening his brother-in-law at a Somers pizzeria, the Journal Inquirer reported.

Shahab Azizi-Bonakdar, 56, of Springfield was charged by state police with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.

He was held on $2,500 bond, and was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Rockville Superior Court.

Azizi-Bonakdar had been terminated by his brother-in-law from his job at Mona’s Pizza in the Southfield Corners Plaza in Aug. 2014. He allegedly screamed he would kill the man, then went to his in-law’s house and repeated his threats, the paper said.
