Man Speeds Through Ellington, Vernon During Chase: State Police
He was tracked down at his Vernon hone and charged, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — A Vernon man is facing a reckless driving charges after leading state police on a pursuit through Ellington and into Vernon, according to an arrest report.
At 2:59 a.m. on Friday state police were patrolling the Windsorville Road corridor when they noticed a black 2012 Nissan Altima begin speeding, according to an arrest report. As a trooper tried to pull the car over, it sped away, an arrest report indicates.
It went through a roundabout and onto Skinner Road in Vernon and went through several stop signs in the process, state police said.

State police eventually tracked down 38-year-old Thomas Lucerini at his 27 Rosewood Drive residence in Vernon, according to an arrest report.
In addition to reckless driving, he was also charged with the stop sign violations and disobeying the signal of an officer, state police said.
