Men Charged With Stealing Tub of Golf Balls in Ellington, Throwing Them At Cyclists From Car

The men were arrested on a warrant, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — Three men from Springfield have been charged with stealing a tub of golf balls from an Ellington home and throwing them at cyclists from a car.

The incident took place on June 1 and the three were arrested on a warrant this week, state police said.

Charged in the case with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy were Amani Nunnally, 20; Malik Or'Neal, 21; and Alfonso Shaver, 20; and Malik O'Neal, 21, state police said. All resaide across the Massachusetts border in Springfield, state police said.

After burglarizing a home on Gabriel Drive, they three drove around the area and gold balls wound up being thrown at a group of female cyclists, according to an arrest warrant.
