ELLINGTON-SOMERS, CT — All around Ellington and Somers, messages of thanks and togetherness have been springing up in front of homes and businesses as feelings of isolation continue during the new coronavirus pandemic. Patch took a quick jaunt through the towns Wednesday morning and shows a representative sampling of signs in the gallery below.

We know there are many more inspirational messages out there, and would like to include them in this showcase. Please email your original photo, with a description and location, to tim.jensen@patch.com.

Crystal Lake Rd., Ellington.
South Rd., Somers. My husband Dave Tullock of T-square Builders and my children built it for me, my co-workers of Johnson Memorial Hospital and all the other healthcare/essential workers!! He also put two thank you heart signs that he placed on the way into Johnson Memorial Hospital from both directions so when we are all going for our shifts we can see the daily appreciation!!
