Montana Fugitive Nabbed at Somers Business

State police picked up a fugitive from Montana at a Somers business.

SOMERS, CT – State police snagged a fugitive from Montana while investigating a suspicious vehicle at a Somers auto parts business.

The initial call for Levielle's Automotive on Egypt Road came in at 12:59 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report.

When being questioned, Montana resident Terrance Ryder, 31, initially gave a false name. Police said he was trying to hide from an extraditable warrant issued out of his home state.

He was arrested on a $750,000 bond for being a fugitive from justice and on an $500 bond for criminal impersonation in Connecticut, according to a report.
