More Milestones Achieved By Ellington, Somers College Students: 2023

Champlain College, Burlington VT

• Alexander Bianca, Jeffrey Gordon, Donovan Shea and Zachary Webber, all of Ellington, and Nicholas Mancuso of Somers have been named to the Champlain College Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in the spring 2023 semester.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester, in which nearly 1,300 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs.
  Students from Ellington and their majors are Danielle Durao, anthropology; Nicholas Ford, music; Jake Frye, data science; Caroline Gray, finance; Kush Patel, computer science; Andrew Raymond, history; Jacob Redekas, exploratory; Margaret Ritchie, communication; Jack Soto, accounting; Kalagena Sullivan, social work; and Janusz Surowka, general studies. Honorees from Somers and their majors are Presley Crowel, sociology and criminology; Mary Herrity, elementary education and liberal studies; Andrew Golden, labor relations/human resources management; Grace Majowicz, business administration; and Kilee Nutbrown, environmental earth science. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the spring 2023 Dean's List, including McKenna Cahill, Matthew Gervin, Elizabeth Lewis, Jenna Selochan and James Sternat, all of Ellington, and Delani Raina and Emily Renzoni, both of Somers. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University recently named over 570 students to the spring semester 2023 Dean's List. Honorees from Ellington and their majors are Colton Falletti, history; Jack Purnhagen, history; Destini Blake, psychology; Kaitlyn Webber, information technology; Megan Beebe, biomedical engineering; and Owen Feindel, civil engineering. Honorees from Somers and their majors are Julia Catellier, secondary education/history; Dominic Manning, sport management; and Cody Palazzesi, business.
