Motorcycle Crashes Sunday in Ellington

ELLINGTON, CT — A motorcycle rider wiped out on Sunday while trying to make a left-hand turn at a stop light state police said.

At 2:47 p.m., John Brosseau, 52, of Ludlow, MA was at the light at Burbank Road and Route 140 on 1990 Harley-Davidson, state police said. He tried to take a left onto Route 140 and spun out, state police said.

He was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital for suspected minor injuries, state police said.He was also xited for an unsafe move after being stopped, state police said.
