Motorcycle Driver Airlifted To Hospital After Crash In Somers
A serious motorcycle crash took place in Somers on Sunday.

SOMERS, CT — A Massachusetts man was airlifted to a regional hospital after a serious motorcycle crash Sunday evening in Somers.
The crash took place at 6:54 p.m. near 344 Springfield Road, the local address for that section of state Route 83, according to a report.
A 1992 Harley Davidson driven by 30-year-old Michael Provost, of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, was heading north and lost control of the bike, according to state police.

He crossed the center line and wound up in a grassy area, according to a report.
Provost was taken to Baystate Medical Center via Life Star helicopter with suspected serious injuries, state police said.
