Murdered Ellington Mom's Sister Named Executor
Meanwhile, Richard Dabate is due for another court appearance in the murder case.
ELLINGTON/VERNON, CT — As Richard Dabate gets set for a Friday appearance in Rockville Superior Court, a probate judge over at Vernon Town Hall has named his murdered wife's sister estate executor.
Last month, Probate Judge O. James Purnell III removed Richard Dabate as executor after he was charged with the murder of Connie Dabate. The Hartford Courant reported on Thursday that he named Marliese Shaw the new executor.
Purnell had already frozen all of Connie Dabate's assets, as well as any joint assets belonging to the couple.

Connie, 39 at the time of her death, and Richard Dabate 40, had two sons, ages 10 and 8.
Richard Dabate is currently out on a $1 million bond while facing charges that include murder, evidence tampering and making false statements in the shooting death of Connie.

Judicial system records indicate he is due in court again Friday. He was arrested on April 14.
