Nellie McKnight Museum To Hold Barnyard Babies Day.

The entire family will enjoy visiting a variety of barnyard babies, face painting, crafts, farm exhibit, and 1812 house museum.

Barnyard Babies Day at the Nellie McKnight Museum will be held on Saturday, June 8th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring the whole family to meet alpacas, goats, lambs, bunnies, chickens, piglets, and calves up close. The Ellington High School Art Club will offer face painting for kids. Enjoy free craft activities, and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Additionally, explore the 1812 House Museum and its new exhibit, "It Happened in Ellington...Believe it or Not," as well as the Farm Exhibit. Admission and activities are free!

The Ellington Historical Society, owners of the Nellie McKnight Museum, is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. Through collections, exhibitions, and events, the Society collects, preserves, and shares the history of Ellington's rural agricultural community.
