New Before and After School Program

A new state licensed before and after school program has come to Somers, Build Explore And More, LLC. BEAM is a unique before and after school program that focuses on discovery learning. Students are provided creative concepts and encouraged to learn/create their way.

BEAM will run an introductory session during President’s day break, 2/20 and 2/21, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Registration is required and can be completed by using the contact information below.

JoAnn Sopelak, Director/ Head Teacher, has worked in the education system for over 25 years. She has degrees in Children’s Literature and Elementary Education. Additionally, she is certified in Applied Behavior Analysis, First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration.

Sopelak says “my love of learning and teaching children is my driving force. I truly believe everybody learns in their own way and it is our job as educators to find and encourage that learning in each child.”
