New Human Services Director Appointed in Ellington
The appointment was made by the selectmen.
ELLINGTON, CT — Joy Hollister is the town's new director of human services.
The Board of Selectmen made her appointment official at its Sept. 12 meeting.
She is scheduled to start Oct. 3, town officials said.

Hollister's experience includes working as the director of human services for the town of Cromwell and as a social worker for the town of Vernon. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Springfield College and is licensed master social worker.
