New Human Services Director On The Job In Ellington

ELLINGTON, CT — Rebecca Stack, the town's elderly outreach/social worker since 2018, has taken over the role of Human Services Director.

Stack assumed her new duties last month. Her background includes areas such as elderly and disabled housing, volunteer experience with the Alzheimer’s Association and the CHOICES Program, and all facets of resident services.

"I’m looking forward to seeing what Rebecca will bring to the table as Human Services Director," First Selectman Lori Spielman said. "She already has an established connection with our residents, and this is a great opportunity to expand upon that and explore new ways to effectively serve our community."

Stack said, "I am both honored and excited to continue serving the Ellington community in this new role. I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of the continued growth of the Human
Services Department."
