Bates College, Lewiston ME

• Amanda Kaufman of Somers was named to the dean's list at Bates College for the winter semester ending in April 2020. This is a distinction earned by students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.8 or higher. Kaufman, the child of Donald E. Kaufman and Valerie R. Kaufman of Somers, is a 2017 graduate of Somers High School. She is majoring in psychology and gender and sexuality studies at Bates.

Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Bryant University is pleased to recognize the Class of 2020 who have completed their graduate and undergraduate studies to earn a Bryant University degree, one which has more value now than at any time in Bryant's history. Nathan Parks of Somers earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Analytics. McKenzie Kozma of Ellington earned Summa Cum Laude a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Math. Molly Murphy of Ellington earned Summa Cum Laude a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management.

Providence College, Providence RI

• Ryan Sherba of Ellington has earned Dean’s List honors at Providence College for the spring 2020 semester. Dean’s List honors are earned by full-time undergraduate students who, at the end of the semester, have attained a GPA of 3.55 or better (on a 4.0 scale), with no grade lower than “C,” and with no incomplete grades.

Purchase College, Purchase NY

• Trevor Burch of Ellington has been named to Purchase College's Dean's List for the spring 2020 semester. Burch is studying Theatre and Performance. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs and 3.75 for Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Music Performance programs, and must take a minimum of 12 credits.

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Brett Boyd of Somers and Madison Fox of Ellington have been named to the spring 2020 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Union College, Schenectady NY

• Union College has announced its Dean's List for the 2019-2020 academic year. Students with at least a 3.50 grade point average for the entire academic year were honored with the academic achievement. Caitlin Boice, of Ellington, is majoring in English. Hannah Soar, of Somers, is a member of the Class of 2023 majoring in Liberal Arts.
