• Asnuntuck Community College has announced that the following full and part-time students from Ellington and Somers have achieved Dean’s List status following their spring semester of studies. Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Inspired to excel, 897 members of the Class of 2019 were awarded a Bryant University degree at the 156th Commencement ceremony on May 18, 2019. These accomplished graduates join a powerful network of more than 50,000 alumni around the world who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their organizations and communities. Anita Huang of Somers graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in International Business degree in IB: Marketing. Nathan Parks of Somers graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Leadership & Innovation Management. Nathan Rosemond of Ellington graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• More than 1,250 Eastern Connecticut State University students received their diplomas in the 2018-19 academic year. Eastern's commencement ceremony occured May 21 at the XL Center in Hartford. Graduates from Ellington were Olivia DeForge, Colleen Patelli, Madeline Varney, Erik ViVenzio, AnnRichelle Akko, Justin Berak, Joseph Dzen, Gabriela Ewald, David Garrison, Zachary Johnson, Saif Kalboneh, Julia Mack, Ryan Michaud, Elisha Midyette, Michael Moore, Delani Oliver and Lauren Zabilansky. Somers graduates were Eric Barnett, Eric Boisvert, Sean Bray, Ryan Elgin, Alexander Johnson and Alison Raulukaitis.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Julia Levandoski of Ellington has qualified for the Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester. Students enrolled in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.

Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT

• Three local students were named to the spring 2019 Dean's List at Western Connecticut State University. They are Ellington residents Lillian Bannock, majoring in Health Promotion Studies, and Logan Terry, majoring in Marketing; and Somers resident Christopher Higgins, majoring in Accounting.
