Opening Knight Players to Hold Farm Day and Picnic

The event will take place on May 4 at Ellington High School.

The Opening Knight Players, Ellington High School’s drama club, will be holding a “Farm Day and Picnic” for children on May 4.

The event will be held to to highlight its performances of Charlotte’s Web on May 10 through May 12

According to a post on Ellington-Somers Patch, the Farm Day event will take place at Ellington High School from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and the cost is $10 per child. There is no cost for parents.

At the event, children will have the opportunity to meet the characters, play games, do crafts and tour the Charlotte’s Web set. OKP will be using puppets in this production which is something different for the group.

Tickets for Farm Day will be by reservation only and those interested should e-mail efomtickets@gmail.com to make their reservations. Payment will be accepted the day of the event.

For more information on the event, contact the same e-mail.

The drama group did a similar sold out event last year for children before their performances of “Beauty and the Beast.”
