Pair Charged for Reckless Driving at Campground

The incidents were on Sunday, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — Two people have been charged for allegedly driving around a popular regional campground recklessly, state police said.

The incidents took place late Sunday night at the Sun Valley campground, according to an arrest report.

Nicholas Ellsworth, 35, of Holland, MA, was charged with reckless driving and risk of injury to a child for trying to leave the campground. state police were alerted to his actions from a 911 call, according to an arrest report. A child was in the car, state police said.

Kate Pincince, 37, of Holland, MA, was charged with driving under the influence for allegedly driving recklessly on dirt roads and the campground lawn, state police said in a report. She failed a sobriety test, state police said. At one point, she was driving the wrong way, according to an arrest report.
