Parachutist Injured in Ellington
The victim was transported to Hartford Hospital via Lifestar helicopter following the Saturday morning incident.

ELLINGTON, CT - A parachutist was injured Saturday morning after striking a tree near the Ellington airport.
Around 9:20 a.m., state police from Troop C in Tolland responded to Meadowbrook Road for an injured parachutist. The victim struck a tree and sustained non life-threatening injuries, and was alert and talking upon first responder arrival, TFC Kelly Grant said.
The injured parachutist was transported via Lifestar helicopter to Hartford Hospital for further evaluation, Grant said.
