Pedestrian Injured in Somers Hit-and-Run

SOMERS, CT — State police are investigating a weekend hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian.

The crash took place Sunday at 9:36 p.m. on South Street, state police said.

A vehicle traveled onto a sidewalk and hit a pedestrian, state police said.

The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with a minor injury and the car left the scene heading toward Route 190, state police said.

The crash is still under investigation.
